KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — Nearly 1,200 members of the Reinforced Services Task Force (RST) from the towns of Tboli, Tupi, Tantangan and Sto. Niño are receiving their honorarium for the second quarter through the Provincial Government’s Barangay Affairs Unit (BAU) as part of its continuing support for community-based workers.
RST Federation President Jerry G. Ming said the honorarium is a welcome assistance to members who continue to give their time in serving their respective communities.
“Dako gid ini nga bulig para sa amon. Bisan indi man ini dako, importante gid ang honorarium kay ginagamit namon ini para sa amon mga kinahanglanon sa pamilya. Nalipay man kami nga ginakilala sang provincial government ang amon serbisyo,” Ming said.
The scheduled payout for RST members is on September 21, 2026 for T’boli, September 22 for Tupi and Tantangan, and September 23 for Sto. Niño.
RST member Everania T. Discaya expressed appreciation for the support, saying the assistance also encourages members to remain committed to their responsibilities.
“Nagapasalamat gid kami sini nga suporta halin sa probinsiya kay dako man ini nga bulig sa adlaw-adlaw namon nga panginanghalanon. Ini naghatag inspirasyon sa amon nga magpadayon sa pagbulig sa amon isigkatawo sa barangay namon,” Discaya expressed.
RST members serve as partners of the provincial government in supporting various community activities and government initiatives at the barangay level.
Meanwhile, Barangay Affairs Chief Dennis C. Dignadice said the RST members remain valuable partners in bringing government programs and services closer to communities.
“Our RST members are always there to support our barangays. This honorarium is one way of recognizing their efforts and encouraging them to continue working with the government in serving our communities,” Dignadice urged.
The BAU continues to coordinate with concerned Local Government Units (LGU) and barangays to ensure the orderly distribution of the honorarium to qualified RST members in the province.
