LAKE SEBU, South Cotabato- The Farmers’ Field Day held today in Sitio El-Lumet, Barangay Luhib, Lake Sebu South Cotabato was a success. It is known that Heirloom farming is a traditional type of farming that does not use pesticides because the seeds have a strong immunity compared to low land rice farming.
The activity aims to sustainably produce Heirloom Rice, adopt technology, increase production, increase farmers’ income and preserve the seeds that have a deep connection to the culture of these tribes.
