15 patients receive free surgery in Norala District Hospital mission

SOUTH COTABATO — Norala District Hospital, in partnership with the Frank Jerome Foundation, Inc., conducted a free surgical mission benefiting 15 patients.

The mission provided surgical procedures to patients with limited access to specialized care. It was carried out by hospital staff and visiting medical teams.

Healthcare workers from the Emergency Room, Public Health Unit, and Nursing Wards handled screening, pre- and post-operative care, and surgical assistance.

Dr. Mila Quinton, Norala District Hospital Chief, said the activity highlights the value of partnerships in delivering essential services.

“This shows how collaboration can bring critical care to underserved patients,” she said.

The hospital reported that all procedures were completed as scheduled without major incidents. Officials said the mission supports efforts to improve healthcare access in South Cotabato.
