South Cotabato, Philippines – The Provincial Government of South Cotabato welcomed 240 beneficiaries of the Summer Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) 2026 during a MOA signing and orientation.
Beneficiaries will be deployed to provincial offices and municipal LGUs for 20 days, from May 5 to June 11.
Provincial Board Member Annabelle G. Pingoy urged students to value the opportunity to earn while studying.
“Make the most of this opportunity to earn while continuing your education,” she said.
She also reminded them to be punctual, responsible, and professional in their assignments. Pingoy encouraged participants to observe government operations and understand their role in public service.
The SPES program provides short-term employment to students and out-of-school youth while supporting their education.
