31 patients in SoCot avail free patient transport service in November

A total of 31 patients in South Cotabato received free transportation assistance under the Patient Transport Vehicles program this November, organized by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

The program provides free transport services to patients needing travel to hospitals and safe return to their homes.

According to PDRRM Officer Rolly Doane Aquino, the initiative aligns with Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr.’s commitment to ensuring free and accessible government services, covering not only the transport vehicle but also the driver, fuel, and staff to assist patients.

Aquino further highlighted that the program is a key component of Governor Tamayo’s “Tama at Maayos na Serbisyo” initiative, aiming to ease the burden of citizens during times of medical emergencies by providing swift and reliable government aid.

For those who wish to avail of the service, the PDRRMO Operations Center operates 24/7 and can be contacted at 0927-542-6430 for Globe and TM subscribers, and 0969-191-5810 for Smart and Talk N Text subscribers.
