8 Kabugwason scholars passed the 2025 Psychometrician Licensure Exam

South Cotabato, Philippines – Eight scholars under the Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid Program of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato passed the recent Board Licensure Examination for Psychologists and Psychometricians (BLEPP), symbolizing yet another achievement for the province’s educational programs.

Among the passers were two (2) regular college scholars and six (6) Grant-In-Aid scholars, who now carry the title of Registered Psychometricians.

Their achievement is a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and the life-changing support of the Kabugwason Program.

One of the passers, Irish G. Prayco, a regular college scholar, conveyed her sincere appreciation to the Provincial Government for the support that enabled her to accomplish this feat.

“The Kabugwason scholarship was more than just support in my college journey — it was the backbone of it. This program made my college experience easier, and I’m proud that the Provincial Government’s investment in me was not wasted,” Prayco shared.

She also recounted how the scholarship inspired her to overcome financial challenges and keep pursuing her dream, even during difficult times.

“From my first year in college until I took the board exam and became a Registered Psychometrician, the Kabugwason Scholarship motivated me to strive hard and persist. Words cannot express how grateful I am to the Provincial Government of South Cotabato and to everyone who supported my academic journey,” she added.

Prayco urged fellow scholars to persevere in pursuing their dreams and remain steadfast in the face of life’s challenges.

“Thank you for believing in me and investing in my future. I hope that more students who are willing to fight for their dreams despite financial challenges will be given the same opportunity through the Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid Program.”

The Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid Program, spearheaded by Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., continues to open doors of opportunity for deserving yet financially challenged students. KPSP-GIAP extends both financial and academic support.
