BAU chief assures processing of honorarium for provincial family health navigators

South Cotabato, Philippines| September 3, 2025 – Barangay Affairs Chief Dennis Dignadice assured the Provincial Family Health Navigators (PFHN)  that the release of honorarium is being prioritized.

“They are required to sign their contracts and submit their accomplishment reports before the honorarium can be release,” Dignadice said.

He assured that the matter is being closely addressed to prevent further delays, stressing that once the required documents are complete, the honorarium will be released as scheduled—reaffirming their commitment to support the navigators’ vital role in community health services in South Cotabato.

“The honorarium is given to them quarterly that consists January to June” he added, emphasized that there is no delay, however, they need to collect all the requirements in order to proceed on the process.At present, BAU is restructuring the list of the health navigators after some members decided to resign.

The Province of South Cotabato currently deploys approximately 13,000 Family Health Navigators, each tasked with monitoring at least 20 families within their assigned areas.Serving as essential partners of the Provincial Health Office, these navigators facilitate the regular tracking of health concerns and emerging issues at the community level.

In addition, they are instrumental in ensuring the full enrollment of residents in the e-Konsulta package through the province’s electronic medical record system, strengthening the delivery of accessible and inclusive healthcare services across South Cotabato.
