Provincial Human Resource Management Officer Freda Liza Gazo explained that Civil Service Month is not only about recognition but also about affirming the province’s commitment to a “future-ready civil service” through continuous human resource development.
“The month of September has always been an exciting month as we commemorate a month-long celebration, a consistent commitment of the provincial government to its officials and employees to acknowledge the big role that we play in public administration and public service delivery,” Gazo said.
She noted that the celebration underscores the importance of patriotism, integrity, and excellence values that public servants in South Cotabato continue to embody in their daily work. The OPHRMO continues to implement various HR systems year-round to equip employees for service delivery and continuity.
“As we officially open the CSC month, we would like to extend our gratitude to all of you, that is also one of our challenges that employees should work with a heart, with integrity, and with excellence in service.” Gazo added, stressing that the celebration is about making employees feel valued, recognized, and inspired to carry forward the essence of public service.
