Davao Del Sur Officials Arrive in SoCot for SC-CCTS Adoption

Koronadal City, South Cotabato – The Provincial Government of Davao del Sur delegation represented by their department heads and board members arrived at the Provincial Capitol of South Cotabato on September 9, 2020, to attend the orientation on the South Cotabato COVID-19 Contact Tracing System (SC-CCTS), which is now called the Region XII COVID-19 Contact Tracing System (R12-CCTS).

Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. personally conducted the pre-orientation and overview of the system, while the CCTS Development and Implementing Team members, Ms. Alexis Acosta conducted the over-all presentation, and Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Marnito B. Cosep entertained the questions of the participants.

Among the Davao del Sur delegation who arrived are the Provincial Administrator Atty. Herbert Gonzales, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Jonna Masongsong, DILG Provincial Director Ms. Mika Chan-Magtulis, Board Members Mr. Arvin Malaza and Ms. Anna Margarita Razonable, Provincial Treasurer Ms. Farah Bidan, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Ms. Geraldine Lano, Human Resource and Management Officer Mr. Raul Raut, Provincial Information Officer Sherwin Cesar, and their Information Technology Officers.

The plan was first announced by the Provincial Information Office (PIO) of Davao del Sur to their local radio stations, stating that it was Governor Douglas R. Cagas himself who insisted to adopt the system, as he found it simple yet effective in battling against the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
