On March 08, 2026 at the KCC Events Center, the Office of the Provincial Population Officer will be conducting a GAD Symposium for Men which will benefit 150 tricycle drivers in the City of Koronadal.
Our guest speaker is Hon. Judge Marie Jean B. Merañez wherein she will talk about R.A. 9262 (Anti-Violence against Women and their Children) and R.A. 11313 (Safe Spaces Act of Bawal Bastos Law). In partnership with TESDA-Provincial Training Center, lead by Ms. Pamela Lyn B. Casa, the TESDA-PTC will also be conducting a seminar on Defensive Driving and availment of services such as Manicure, Pedicure and Haircut for the drivers.
This program was initiated to aide our drivers in giving them awareness of the recent laws concerning them and have them appreciate what it is to be promoters of a safe, respectful, and harassment-free transportation system in the City of Koronadal
