As part of its advocacy to promote family-centered policies in the workplace, the Office of the Provincial Population Office (OPPO) of South Cotabato conducted a Gender-Responsive Parenting Seminar for employees of the Provincial Government with adolescent children. This initiative forms part of the ongoing Responsible Parenthood–Family Planning (RP-FP) in the Workplace Program, which aims to support government workers in their dual roles as professionals and parents.
A total of 21 employees participated in the seminar—18 females and 3 males—highlighting the province’s commitment to inclusive and gender-responsive programming. The activity focused on strengthening parenting skills and promoting healthy communication within families, particularly in navigating the complex developmental phase of adolescence.
This initiative reflects the provincial government’s broader commitment to employee welfare and social development, in line with its core values of responsive, inclusive, and gender-sensitive service delivery.
