Koronadal City, South Cotabato, Philippines | May 22, 2026 — Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. served as Guest of Honor and Speaker during the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) National Court of Honor held on May 22, 2026, at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino in Lahug, Cebu City.
The national gathering, attended by around 900 delegates, scout leaders, and members of the BSP National Council from across the country, forms part of the BSP National Assembly which officially opened on May 21.
During the event, Governor Tamayo underscored the importance of leadership grounded on discipline, integrity, service, and love of country—values strongly upheld by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. He also recognized the vital role of scouting in molding young Filipinos into responsible citizens and future leaders committed to community service and nation-building.
The National Court of Honor is one of the organization’s significant assemblies that recognizes outstanding service and contributions of scouts and scout leaders nationwide while reaffirming the organization’s commitment to character formation and civic responsibility.
The participation of Governor Tamayo in the event reflects the Provincial Government of South Cotabato’s continuing support for youth empowerment, leadership development, and values formation as pillars of progressive and people-centered governance.
