Gov. Tamayo Jr. signs PHP3.4B 2025 Annual Budget For South Cotabato

SOUTH COTABATO, PHILIPPINES – Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. has officially signed resolution no. 792 s. 2024 enacting appropriation ordinance No. 2024-08 entails the Annual Budget for the Province of South Cotabato for CY 2025.

With 11 members of the 14th Sangguniang Panlalawigan present and four on official business, the SP approved the resolution on the third and final reading last December 16, 2024.

The 2025 Annual Budget of the Province of South Cotabato amounts to PHP 3,415,991,363.00

A large portion of the budget next year, 38.7%, is allocated for General Public Services, 20% for Social Services, and 23.3% for other services, which comprised the local development fund, the PDRRM fund, debt services, and aid to the barangays.

Furthermore, over 8% of the budget is allocated for the province’s economic enterprise services and operations.

The annual budget for 2025 is streamlined based on the Executive Priority thrusts of the governance platform under the administration of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., dubbed the “Tama at Maayos Na Serbisyo,” which emphasizes five key priorities: investments in Health care services and facilities, infrastructure, agriculture, education, and the economy.

The 2025 annual budget has seen a slight increase compared to the 2024 annual budget, which amounts to PHP3,027,657,735.00
