Gov. Tamayo seeks support from new board members during 15th Sanggunian inaugural session

KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — The 15th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of South Cotabato officially convened its inaugural session, during which Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. delivered a message calling for the support of newly elected board members.

In his address, Governor Tamayo emphasized the importance of legislative backing in the successful implementation of key programs and projects that aim to drive sustainable development across the province.

“Looking forward to seeing legislative actions that will support these programs to ensure sustainable solutions for our people,” the governor stated.

He underscored the need for unified efforts between the executive and legislative branches to ensure the continuity and long-term impact of government initiatives.

Vice Governor Arthur “Dodo” Pingoy Jr. assured the governor of the legislative body’s full support and commitment to collaboration.

“We are ready to work hand-in-hand to achieve our shared goals for a more progressive South Cotabato,” Pingoy said.

The inaugural session signaled the start of a stronger partnership between the executive and legislative arms of the provincial government geared toward enhancing public service delivery and ensuring inclusive growth for all constituents of South Cotabato.
