Governor Tamayo assures continued and strengthened programs in 2026

KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. has assured the public that the Provincial Government of South Cotabato will constinue and further strengthen its programs in 2026, guided by his administration’s mantra, “Tama kag Maayo nga Serbisyo.”

The governor emphasized that the initiatives implemented in the previous year will not only be maintained but also improved to ensure better and more responsive public service delivery across the province.

As part of this commitment, the Governor announced that he will gather all departments of the Provincial Government within the week to conduct a thorough evaluation of their programs and operations.

The assessment aims to identify areas needing improvement and develop strategies to enhance service delivery.

“Magsisimula tayo ng evaluation bukas. Papatawag ako sa bawat departamento at titingnan natin kung ano pa ang dapat i-strengthen sa kanilang mga serbisyo,” Governor Tamayo said.

The Governor stated that the evaluation process will act as a clear guide and direction throughout the year, ensuring all departments align with the administration’s goals and priorities.

Major programs like free hospitalization, free education, infrastructure development, and other vital social services will continue to be top priorities.

Magsisilbing gabay ito ng bawat departamento kung ano ang direksyon nila ngayong taon, upang sa pagtatapos ng taon ay malinaw kung naabot na natin ang mga target na itinakda,” he added.

Governor Tamayo emphasized that putting the people’s welfare first remains central to his leadership.

Through ongoing assessment, accountability, and responsive governance, the provincial government strives to ensure that “Tama kag Maayo nga Serbisyo” is not just delivered but truly experienced—especially by those who need it most.
