Governor Tamayo prioritizes institutionalization of South Cotabato’s key programs

Koronadal, South Cotabato- Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. is pushing for the institutionalization of key provincial programs to ensure their continuity beyond his administration.

Recognizing the long-term impact of these initiatives, Governor Tamayo emphasized the need to pass local ordinances that will formalize essential services such as free education, free hospitalization, and support programs for farmers and entrepreneurs. These efforts, he said, are designed to uplift the lives of ordinary South Cotabateños.

“One of the key areas we must focus on is the institutionalization of these programs in the province. My term will eventually come to an end, but these initiatives should continue under the next administration,” Governor Tamayo stated.

The Governor stressed that the province cannot afford to lose the progress already achieved. He warned that without proper legislation, these programs might be discontinued in the future, leaving the public to bear the consequences.

Once institutionalized, these initiatives will remain a priority for the province regardless of leadership changes, ensuring sustained benefits for generations to come.
