Koronadal City, Philippines | September 1, 2025 – Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. reminded the employees of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato (PGSC) to remain optimistic and committed despite the daily challenges of public service.
During the Monday Convocation Program held at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, the Governor emphasized the importance of maintaining professionalism and dedication in serving the people.
“Ang request ko lang sa inyo, ‘yung oras ng trabaho ninyo, you make sure na kahit pagod tayo, kahit exhausted tayo, kailangan naka-smile at ang pag-entertain andiyan pa rin,” the Governor said.
Governor Tamayo also reminded everyone to keep the welfare of citizens at the forefront of their work and to consistently deliver “Tama at Maayos na Serbisyo” in every interaction with the public.
Acknowledging the realities of long working hours and the emotional and physical toll of frontline service, Governor Tamayo made a special appeal to employees to remain positive, approachable, and fully engaged in their roles.
“You are my reflection sa pag deliver ng services araw-araw”, he pointed out.
He highlighted that small acts of kindness, patience, and attentiveness can significantly impact public trust and overall satisfaction with government services.
In his last term, the governor pushed to put policies and systems in order for the next administration.
“Enjoy the work that you have, because that is the only thing the people can truly be grateful to us for,” Gov. Tamayo concluded.
