A resident of Norala, South Cotabato, expressed gratitude to Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. after being included in the free dialysis program of the provincial government.
Edmund Natividad, one of the program’s beneficiaries, said that without this initiative, he and his family would struggle to afford the high cost of dialysis treatment, which can reach ₱1,800 or more per session in private hospitals.
“To our beloved Governor of South Cotabato, Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., I am deeply grateful. Because of the free dialysis center, we no longer have to spend large sums of money, which we simply do not have,” Natividad said.
Natividad was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in December 2024 and is currently undergoing treatment under the province’s free dialysis program.
The free dialysis program is part of Governor Tamayo’s flagship initiatives under his commitment to free hospitalization and medical care in South Cotabato. The program aims to provide accessible healthcare services to indigent patients who cannot afford expensive medical treatments.
