CITY OF KORONADAL — Officers of the Dreamweavers Fashion Artists, a group of fashion designers representing the 11 LGUs of the province, were inducted recently by Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. during the Monday Convocation held at the Provincial Capitol Covered Court here.
king their oath of office were Sherwin Tingson of Koronadal City (President), Kim Tabidad of Lake Sebu (Vice-President), Nino Baylosis of Polomok (Secretary), Russel Alimanggo (Treasurer), Dante Mana of Surallah (Auditor), Ambrosio Cabayao Jr. of Banga (Public Information Officer), Dante Montanao of Tantangan, Kris Nala of Tupi (Board of Directors).
The fashion artists debuted their t’nalak wearable creations during their first fashion show event held at Mall of Acecenterpoint this city last February 27, which is the culmination day of the National Arts Month celebration in South Cotabato spearheaded by the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum (ACTM) Development and Promotions Unit.
The wearable creations in black, red and white colors symbolizing the 3 colors of the t’nalak cloth were paraded by 1 male and 16 female models.
The fashion show dubbed “Bugal Lokal,” was conceptualized by Jared Servano, Project Runway Philippines winner from Koronadal City and forerunner of said event.
