Kabugwason Grant-In-Aid scholar now a licensed CPA

South Cotabato, Philippines – A scholar of the Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid Program (KPSGIAP) has brought pride to the Province of South Cotabato after successfully passing the recent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination.

Waynie Jane Osing, now a licensed CPA, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Provincial Government of South Cotabato and acknowledged the significant role that the scholarship program played throughout her academic journey.

“KPSGIAP played a huge role in what I have achieved today. The financial assistance I received allowed me to focus on my studies without worrying too much about the expenses that came with pursuing my degree. More than just the monetary support, being part of the Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid Program inspired me to keep striving for excellence, knowing that the Provincial Government believed in my potential,” Osing shared.

She added that being a KPSGIAP scholar taught her important values that guided her toward success.

“Being a Kabugwason scholar taught me the values of perseverance and gratitude. The Grant-In-Aid scholarship program reminded me to stay grounded and to remain humble in all my achievements, recognizing that success comes from hard work, faith, and the support of others,” Osing said.

As she began her career as a CPA, “I will carry with me the commitment to integrity, excellence, and compassion, just as Kabugwason instilled in me during my academic journey.”

The newly licensed accountant also extended her appreciation to the Provincial Government for empowering students like her to pursue their goals.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Provincial Government of South Cotabato and the Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid Program for believing in my dreams and for supporting me throughout my studies. Your assistance became my source of strength and motivation to keep moving forward. This achievement is not mine alone; it is a shared success with all of you who made this journey possible,” she stated.

Osing expressed hope that the program will continue to uplift young South Cotabateños.

“I truly hope that the Provincial Government of South Cotabato will continue supporting deserving students through the Kabugwason Paglaum Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid Program, so that more young dreamers can have the same opportunity I was given.”

The Provincial Government continues to recognize the achievements of its scholars, reaffirming its commitment to supporting education and empowering the youth of South Cotabato.
