Newly-elected officers of the Union of Provincial Employees of South Cotabato (UPESCO) was officially proclaimed last July 20 during the province’s regular Monday Convocation Program which resumed 2 weeks earlier after it was temporarily suspended due to the CoViD – 19 Pandemic.
Chairperson of the Commission on Election (COMELEC) Fruto C. Sumagaysay Jr., MPA of PGO-ACTM officially proclaimed the winning candidates, both Executive Officers and Board of Directors (BOD), who will serve until June 30, 2022.
The elected Executive Officers were Rex Magno (President), Wendell Bonjoc (Vice-President), Jeneen Vince Espanol (Secretary), Arvin Ian Robles (Assistant Secretary), Ranelle Pedrico (Treasurer), Rolly Wanan (Auditor), Michael Jay Calixtro (Business Manager), Michael Anthony Almaden (Public Information Officer).
Meanwhile, the BOD proclaimed were Mailen Grace Januto (PACCO), Merlyn Esteban (PADMIN/PHRMO), Richel Reyes (PASSO), Rhealiza Evasco (PAGRI), Maria Sally Palma (PBO), Jose Ariel Sionosa (PEO), Cornelio Pluma Jr. (PEMO), Steve Rodriguez (PGO), Ralph Jann Delalamon (PGSO), Atty. Leah May Orencio (PLO), Danny Jason Duron (PPDO), Sam Cyrus Bayog (PPO), Diana Rose Lagos (PTO), Mary Ann Dalipe (SP).
Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. officiated the Official Oath-taking of the new set of officers. He assured that he will support the different programs of UPESCO that are aimed towards the development of the provincial government employees.
Outgoing UPESCO President Grace Maniego challenged the new set of officers to be steadfast in their vision of promoting the welfare of co-employees. The outgoing UPESCO officers likewise gave Plaques of Appreciation to the 3 COMELEC members for the successful election exercise.
Incoming President Rex Magno said that he will his promise to implement his party’s platform such as to expand union membership among casual employees, enhance the employee security program through health care insurance, improve member benefits and crafting of the UPESCO Manual.
