KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — Norala District Hospital (NDH), in partnership with PhilHealth and Barangay Puti council, will conduct ALAGANG NDH: Yakap and Health Caravan to bring free healthcare services closer to residents of the community.
The outreach activity is tentatively scheduled for September 15, 2026, Tuesday, at the Barangay Hall of Barangay Puti.
NDH Chief of Hospital Dr. Mila G. Quinton said the activity forms part of the hospital’s efforts to make essential healthcare services more accessible to communities.
“This outreach initiative reflects our continuing commitment to bring essential healthcare services closer to the people, particularly those who may face challenges in accessing medical care,” Quinton said.
The initiative will provide residents with free medical consultations, dental services, circumcision, and YAKAP registration.
The medical mission will allow residents to access basic healthcare services within their locality while also providing an opportunity for them to register for the YAKAP program.
Residents who intend to avail themselves of the services are advised to bring a valid identification card, birth certificate, and Member Data Record (MDR).
Barangay officials will facilitate the initial registration of interested residents and accommodate inquiries regarding the scheduled activity.
The initiative highlights the continuing collaboration among Norala District Hospital, PhilHealth, and the local government at the barangay level in extending healthcare services directly to communities.
Through the medical mission and YAKAP Caravan, NDH seeks to strengthen community-based healthcare delivery while ensuring that residents have greater access to essential medical services.
