Norala District Hospital tops region-wide ‘Red Orchid Awards’ for second time

SOUTH COTABATO – Norala District Hospital (NDH) has been named the Top 1 Region-Wide awardee and a two-time Red Orchid Awardee with the highest rating in the Government Hospital Category, reaffirming its commitment to implementing health programs.

The hospital posted a rating of 110 percent, the highest in the category, reflecting its continued efforts to sustain and strengthen programs that promote a healthy and safe community

The Red Orchid Award recognizes institutions that effectively implement programs and policies on tobacco control and other measures aimed at creating a healthy environment.

During the award ceremony, NDH represented the Provincial Government of South Cotabato and received the recognition alongside other awardees and health officials.

Dr. Mila Quinton said the award reflects the collective work of the hospital’s leadership and staff.

“This recognition belongs to every department and every member of our hospital family. It shows what we can achieve when we work together to deliver quality, disciplined and responsible health services, and we will continue to uphold these standards for the benefit of our patients and the community,” Quinton said.

Hospital officials credited the achievement to coordination among departments and personnel, from enforcing policies to providing patient-centered care that prioritizes health and well-being.

NDH said it will continue to build on recognition as it works to improve its services and promote health in the communities it serves.
