OPGSO-South Cotabato named GSIS top remitting office in region

The Office of the Provincial General Services Officer (OPGSO) of South Cotabato has been recognized as the top remitting office of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) regionwide for three consecutive years, from 2023 to 2025, reaffirming its role as a model of efficiency and accountability in government service.

The recognition highlights OPGSO’s commitment to sound management of government supplies and properties, setting a standard for effective public service delivery.

OIC-PGSO Anna Rose Kasan shared that the office ensures the timely processing of documents, particularly those related to asset disposal and the management of government-owned properties, vehicles, and motorcycles.

“All provincial government vehicles are properly registered with the Land Transportation Office (LTO), and all buildings and properties are insured with GSIS. These practices reflect our adherence to proper procedures and good governance,” Kasan explained.

She added that the recognition is a product of teamwork and dedication to best practices in public service.

“Because of our good practices, we are proud to be one of the top remitting offices of GSIS regionwide,” Kasan said.

The distinction stands as a milestone for OPGSO and a testament to South Cotabato’s brand of governance that prioritizes transparency, accountability, and service excellence.
