OPSWDO extends over 5,600 aid services to South Cotabateños from July to October 2025

South Cotabato — The Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer (OPSWDO) continues to strengthen its commitment to delivering social protection and support programs across South Cotabato, releasing a total of 5,648 assistance services from July to October 2025.

Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer Sonia Bautista emphasized the provincial government’s unwavering support for vulnerable families.

“We continue providing for their needs,” she said, reaffirming the administration’s dedication to providing timely and responsive services.

Bautista also explained the scope of OPSWDO’s aid programs.

“We have three categories—Medicine, Hospital, and Mortuary. These are the different types of assistance we provide to our clients, and each client may avail of them once every quarter,” she added.

Under the Hospitalization Assistance, OPSWDO served 692 beneficiaries within the four months.

Medical Assistance

A significant increase in medical support was recorded, with 4,514 beneficiaries assisted.

Burial Assistance

To support bereaved families, OPSWDO extended 442 burial assistance services from July to October.
