PADAC spearheads psychosocial First Aid Training vs suicide

The Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC) chaired by Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr.,  in partnership with the Provincial United Registered Social Workers in the province spearheads the conduct of the psychosocial First Aid Training for Social Workers at the Agua Frio Garden Resort in Koronadal City.

This is in response to the mental and other health issues especially in time for the pandemic which caused the alarming concern on suicide cases in South Cotabato.

This one-day activity is the first in a 5-series of training participated in by social workers from academe, private companies, and the government.

Early this week, another set of training was again conducted for the  South Cotabato Pantawid Pamilya social workers.

The purpose of the activity is to organize psychosocial first aid volunteers in the province as an additional workforce to help ease the rising cases of suicides.
