KORONADAL CITY, SOUTH COTABATO — The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of South Cotabato has provided immediate relief assistance to families affected by flooding recently.
Last night, the PDRRMO deployed its Mobile Kitchen and distributed essential aid to residents in Barangay Cacub and Barangay Morales.
A team from the PDRRMO Operations and Warning Division delivered food packs, hygiene kits, and sleeping kits to 25 families in Barangay Cacub and 20 families in Barangay Morales, which were heavily impacted by the recent heavy rainfall that led to flooding.
In addition, the Mobile Kitchen served hot meals to evacuees temporarily housed at the Evacuation Center.
Under the leadership of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., and the supervision of PDRRMO Rolly Doane C. Aquino, RN, MPA, MMNSA, MMCMDR, the relief operation was conducted to ensure that affected residents received prompt and comprehensive assistance during the crisis.
“The Provincial Government of South Cotabato remains committed to providing tama kag maayo nga serbisyo to all our constituents, especially during times of disaster. We will continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of the affected families,” Aquino said.
