South Cotabato, Philippines – To ensure the safety and sustainability of the infrastructure at the most popular tourist destination in South Cotabato, the Provincial Engineering Office initiated the improvement of the Falls No. 5 Rigging and Landing Station, which is part of the Seven Falls Zipline with a value of ₱3,997,340.53.
The upgrade aims to provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for visitors while supporting the growing tourism industry of Lake Sebu. It enhances Lake Sebu’s accommodation to a larger volume of visitors, contributing to the sustainable development of Lake Sebu’s tourism industry.
Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr. remains committed to further improving the tourism industry, ensuring that the 7 Falls is the most attractive and accessible destination for local and international visitors.
“The initiative not only enhances the tourism experience but also creates new opportunities for local businesses and communities to benefit from increased tourism traffic,” the governor said.
Through such initiatives, the provincial government hopes to make a positive impact on the local economy while preserving the natural beauty of Lake Sebu.
The Provincial Engineer Lloyd M. Esparagosa supervised the infrastructure project along with Head of the Construction Division Engineer Erisaldy Quines, Project Engineer Sly Stone Severino, and Assistant Engineer Joey Mark Morin, who worked diligently to ensure the quality, efficiency, and safety standards of the project.
