Provincial Government appoints new regular members of provincial scholarship committee

South Cotabato, Philippines — The Provincial Government of South Cotabato has officially welcomed the newly appointed Regular Members of the Provincial Scholarship and Grant-In-Aid Committee, reaffirming its commitment to transparent, inclusive, and equitable delivery of educational assistance to qualified scholars across the province.

The PSGIAC serves as a key policy and oversight body tasked with ensuring the fair evaluation, approval, and implementation of scholarship and grant programs.

The following individuals have been designated as Regular Members of the Committee:

  1. Business Sector Representative: Mr. Carlito Y. Uy
  2. Academe Sector Representative: Mr. Roy D. Dela Cruz
  3. Religious Sector Representative: Mr. Samuel O. Timog-Timog
  4. Women Sector Representative: Ms. Paz Adelfa N. Espartero
  5. Muslim Sector Representative: Mr. Omar L. Bacal, Al-Hajj
  6. Youth Sector Representative: Mr. John Mark L. Rufino
  7. Parent Sector Representative: Ms. Alma C. Manchures
  8. Urban Poor Sector Representative: Mr. Nylbin G. Baylon
  9. Indigenous Peoples (IP) Sector Representative: Mr. Rodrigo S. Sabal
  10. Farmer Sector Representative: Mr. Glen D. Lamputi
  11. Labor Sector Representative: Mr. Jose Ronie V. Mondragon

The committee stated that the newly appointed members represent various sectors of society, thereby strengthening participatory governance and sectoral representation in the formulation of education support policies.
