CITY OF KORONADAL — Fifty-one (51) infrastructure projects with a total project cost of P131,440,636.22 were completed province-wide from January to July 2016, the Provincial Engineers Office (PEO) reported.
Horizontal structures completed include roads, bridges, lined canals and box culverts, while vertical structures finished consisted of multi-purpose buildings, 1-classroom and 2-classroom buildings, gyms, mini-gyms, curve gyms and bleacher and playground, and Barangay Health Station.
Provincial Government Offices located inside and outside of Capitol Compound and in different towns were also beneficiaries of improvements to better serve the public.
The projects accomplished by the province were Installation of Local Area Network (LAN) Cabling of the New SP Session Hall and Offices located at 3rd Floor, Finance Building; Improvement of PGO-Inspectorate Unit Offices, Finance Building; Additional Improvements for New Office Building of PASSO (Comfort Room, Conference Room, Provincial Assessor, Records, Book Room); Repair of Water System Supply for South Cotabato Sports Complex Pool; Repair of South Cotabato Sports Complex Perimeter Fence; Improvement and Expansion of Goat House at Tinongkop, Tantangan; Construction of Multi-Purpose Building and Improvement of Provincial Jail Facilities (Concreting of Dalawan Area); Construction of IPEMC Perimeter Fence at Tinongkop, Tantangan; Construction of Material Testing and Quality Control Division Building, PEO (Phase I); Reconstruction of Norala District Hospital Perimeter Fence (Back Part of the Hospital).
Labor expenses of different projects were likewise paid by PEO such as Construction of Wildlife Restitution Center at Purok Bagong Silang, Linan, Tupi; Construction of Wildlife Restitution Center at the Foot of Susong Dalaga, Lambayong, Tampakan; Improvement of Provincial Jai Facilities (Tiling of Kitchen and Transfer of Ladder).
UP Manila School of Health Sciences – Extension Campus here was also the recipient of the construction and installation of lamp post.
On-going projects as of July this year totaled P132,612,654.63, the PEO reported.
