STO NIÑO, SOUTH COTABATO — A new two-storey facility is being built in Barangay San Isidro, Sto. Niño, South Cotabato to provide residents with a more suitable space for barangay services, community programs, and other activities under the Provincial Government of South Cotabato’s Proyektong Angat Para sa Lahat.
With a project cost of ₱4,694,748.19, the facility will serve as the barangay’s future hall and provide a dedicated venue for barangay meetings, livelihood training, cultural programs, social services, and other community initiatives.
Engr. Marie Fe Agaton, Project Engineer, said the building is designed to accommodate the various needs of the barangay and its residents.
“This project will provide the people of San Isidro with a dedicated facility that they can use for barangay services and different community activities. Once completed, it will provide a more functional and accessible space for the residents,” Agaton said.
The new barangay hall is expected to provide residents with a more accessible and functional space for the delivery of barangay services and the conduct of activities, giving the community a centralized facility where they can participate in programs and access local services.
The project is currently ongoing and is estimated to be completed before the end of the year, allowing the community to soon benefit from the new facility.
Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. said the provincial government continues to prioritize infrastructure projects that respond to the practical needs of communities.
“Our goal is to make sure that every project provides a lasting benefit to our people. A facility like this gives the community a place where they can gather, access services, and pursue activities that can contribute to their development,” Tamayo said.
The ₱4.69-million project forms part of Proyektong Angat Para sa Lahat, reflecting the provincial government’s efforts to bring essential infrastructure and services closer to communities across South Cotabato.
Once completed, the facility will serve not only as the new barangay hall but also as a community space that can support programs and activities contributing to the welfare and development of San Isidro residents.
