South Cotabato, Philippines | December 13, 2025 – The Provincial Government of South Cotabato brought together Provincial School Board (PSB) Teachers, Learning Support Aides, Clerks, Security Guards, and Utility Workers for a festive Christmas Party and contract signing, highlighting the province’s continued investment in education and public service.
The event served as both a year-end celebration and a reaffirmation of support for PSB personnel whose roles are vital to the daily operations of public schools across the province.


Acting Provincial Administrator Atty. Renette B. Bergado emphasized that the administration of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. remains steadfast in supporting PSB workers.
“The program strengthens unity among government employees and reflects the provincial leadership’s commitment to inclusive development and shared responsibility for the welfare of communities,” Atty. Bergado said.
Meanwhile, PSB beneficiary Janeth E. Galono, a teacher assigned to Palo-19 National High School in Tampakan, shared how the program has transformed her life.
Hired on December 3, 2022, Galono expressed gratitude for the recent contract signing, which ensures her continued service.


She described her journey as a PSB teacher as deeply fulfilling, allowing her to support her family and achieve personal milestones, including purchasing a laptop and a motorcycle for daily travel to school.
“I commended the fair hiring process,” Galono shared, stressing that patience and perseverance are essential.
Galono extended her heartfelt thanks to Governor Tamayo and the program facilitators for initiating an opportunity that has positively impacted PSB personnel.
On the other hand, another beneficiary, Sheryl Ann Bangan, a Learning Support Aide from Lake Sebu assigned to Lembato BENEF Extension, emotionally shared her nearly six years of service.
She said the PSB program provided stability during a challenging period in her life and helped her continue supporting her family.
“I really appreciate the assistance and blessings I received this Christmas season,” she said, stressing that her opportunity to work gives her strength to go on with life.
Furthermore, Jeany Mae S. Bulul, a PSB Clerk from Barangay Takunel, Lake Sebu, recalled the hardships she faced before joining the PSB.
She said the opportunity brought unexpected change to her life, enabling her to meet her child’s needs and regain hope.
The event underscored how the PSB program continues to uplift lives, foster professional growth, and strengthen public service in South Cotabato.
