SOUTH COTABATO — The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of South Cotabato continues to ensure the delivery of social welfare services to residents who need immediate assistance, particularly through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.
According to Imelda C. Zapata, RSW, the office continues to aid residents in need and is working to ensure that its services remain available until the end of the year.
“Sa ngayon walang cut-off sa assistance, ito ay base sa mandato ni Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. na mas lalong papalakasin ang programa at mabigyan ng agarang solution ang mga pangangailan ng mga mamayan.” Zapata emphasized
Through AICS, qualified residents are given the opportunity to receive assistance that can help ease their financial burden during difficult times.
One of those who benefited from the program is Lea Ferolino of Barangay Poblacion, Polomolok, South Cotabato, who expressed her gratitude for the assistance they received.
“Dako nga tabang sa among pamilya lalo na sa pag bayad namo sa hospital bill ang assistance nga among nabaton.” Ferolino said
The continuation of AICS is also part of the commitment of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. to further strengthen provincial government programs that directly address the needs of the people.
Through coordination between the PSWDO and other government offices, the necessary services are expected to continue reaching residents, especially those seeking medical assistance, burial assistance, and other social welfare services.
The Provincial Government of South Cotabato is not only addressing the immediate needs of beneficiaries but is also demonstrating its continued commitment to stand alongside residents during times of crisis.
