South Cotabato, Philippines | December 20, 2025- Several registered organizations across the Province of South Cotabato have officially received their financial assistance for 2025 amounting to P100, 000, marking another milestone in the provincial government’s continuing efforts to support grassroots livelihood and community development programs.

According to Executive Assistant IV Dennis C. Dignadice of the Office of the Provincial Governor – Barangay Affairs Unit, the release of funds was successfully carried out together with the signing and distribution of the required program agreements. He explained that this release covers the second batch of qualified organizations for 2025, ensuring transparency and proper implementation of each livelihood project.

In total, the approved budget of the Office of the Provincial Governor – Barangay Affairs Unit amounts to ₱1.8 million, with ₱900,000 already released for this batch, on top of an earlier ₱900,000 release.
The allocated financial assistance was used to fund income-generating activities designed to strengthen local economies and provide sustainable sources of livelihood.
Among the recipients are the Seed of Faith Association of Lake Lahit, Lake Sebu for its SOFA Care Grocery; Kesestu Atul Integrated Farmer Association of Barangay Lakonon, T’boli; and the Katipuneros Fisher Folks Association of Sto. Niño, which focused on tilapia production and processing.
Other beneficiaries include the Talaenged Farmers Association of Polomolok for rental services, Lake Holon Tour Guide and Porter Association of Salacafe, T’boli for poultry farming, and the Muslim and Christian Farmers Association of Norala for the acquisition of a heavy-duty electric grain crusher machine.
Additional projects include were swine production, establishment of a livestock feeds retail store, and a coconut trading business in Tupi.

Meanwhile, Barangay Affairs Unit staff Ma. Teresa T. Posas, RSW, shared that the processing went smoothly, noting that the associations submitted complete and well-organized documents.
“Wala man kami nabudlayan sa mga Documents nila kay han-ay man” Posas stressed.
