RST brings livelihood and public services closer to communities in Koronadal City

Koronadal City South Cotabato, Philippines | November 23, 2025 — The Re-Enforce Services Taskforce (RST) of the Provincial Government continues to make a tangible difference in the lives of residents, delivering livelihood programs and public services under the leadership of Governor Jun-Jun Tamayo.

Zuellen Muyco Jawood, Community Organizer from the Provincial Governor’s Barangay Affairs Unit, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Governor for prioritizing transparency and public welfare.

“Whether the support is small or large, every initiative acknowledges our work. As Community Organizers, our duty is to implement the Governor’s directives with honesty and integrity,” Jawood said.

The communities of Barangay General Paulino Santos and Barangay Zone-II in Koronadal City have benefited from programs such as the DSWD Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), a ₱250,000 rice subsidy, a ₱100,000 livelihood grant, and a ₱450,000 fuel allocation for community projects.

Jawood emphasized that these programs are distributed equitably across the province, reflecting Governor Tamayo’s commitment to inclusive governance.

Meanwhile, Jamal U. Decampong, Federation President of RST-GPS, highlighted the impact of these initiatives.

“Through livelihood projects and community orientations, residents are empowered and informed. Even with modest honoraria, serving the people is deeply fulfilling. I may not have sought office, but the people entrusted me to lead,” Decampong said.

He also praised Governor Tamayo’s historic programs, including free hospital services and free education, which have transformed access to essential services in the province.

RST Federation Vice President Jolly C. Capillo stressed collaboration as key to RST’s success.

“Programs that the Governor downloads to our communities reach the people directly. Our role is to assist the needy and serve with integrity,” Capillo said.

Barangay Captain Danilo B. Delos Santos noted significant improvements in sanitation, health navigation, and overall community welfare.

“The Provincial Government’s programs are well-coordinated and responsive. We salute Governor Tamayo for his leadership,” he added.

Through strong coordination among the RST, Barangay officials, and the Provincial Government, these initiatives continue to bring sustainable livelihoods, essential services, and transparent governance closer to every household in South Cotabato.
