KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato| November 13, 2025- Amid the growing public conversations about healthcare services, the South Cotabato Provincial Hospital (SCPH) continues to uphold transparency, accountability, and dedication to its mission of providing high-quality medical care to every South Cotabateño.
Dr. Marilyn Abantao, Chief of Hospital, assured the public that the provincial government-run facility remains open to all forms of feedback and takes every comment , even criticisms as an opportunity to strengthen its services.
“We are once again reminding everyone that the South Cotabato Provincial Hospital is open for any concerns. Our doors are always open to listen because our main priority is and will always be the well-being of every South Cotabateño,” Dr. Abantao emphasized.
She further highlighted that despite the negative remarks circulating online, the hospital continues to move forward with positivity and determination, focusing on what truly matters , and that is saving lives, ensuring patient safety, and improving public health outcomes.
“Instead of taking criticisms negatively, we use them as fuel to improve our systems and to reaffirm our commitment to serve with compassion and integrity. We take pride in knowing that each day, we are able to help thousands of individuals who rely on our care,” she added.
Dr. Abantao also commended the unwavering dedication of SCPH’s healthcare workers who, despite the daily challenges of a high-volume government hospital, continue to provide professional and heartfelt service to every patient.
“We make sure that everyone who seeks help is attended to with respect and quality care. Our team works tirelessly , from doctors and nurses to our staff in every department , because we know that every life we touch matters,” she shared.
