SoCot spearheads the distribution of 1,000 sacks of rice coming from OCM-BARMM

South Cotabato, Koronadal City- The Provincial Government of South Cotabato (PGSC) spearheads the distribution of 1,000 sacks of rice coming from OCM-BARMM.

According to Larry Abdul, one of the member of South Cotabato Bangsamoro Association, the distribution was ordered by the Chief Minister of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (OCM-BARMM).

They are set to distribute 16,000 sacks of rice to the needy constituents of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) affected by the Coronavirus Disease  (Covid-19) pandemic, and they allocated  1,000 sacks to South Cotabato Province.

Abdul appreciated the help of the PGSC, because they will not have to spend a lot of money to transport the 1,000 sacks of rice.

The PGSC provided five (5) trucks to deliver the rice from Cotabato City to to five (5) municipalities in South Cotabato; Banga, T’boli, Surallah, Norala and Sto. Nino.

It is of big help in reaching out the poor members of our society who then became victims of the present crisis (Covid-19).
