South Cotabato celebrates 4th Integrity and Open Government Partnership (OGP) Week celebration

The Provincial Government of South Cotabato will conduct a series of activities in line with the celebration of the South Cotabato 4th Integrity and Open Government Partnership (OGP) Week celebration starting September 21-25, 2020 which is one of the 24 Integrity Commitments of the province under the program.

This is also in line with the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Ordinance No. 08, series of 2017, or “An Ordinance Declaring Every 3rd Week of September as Integrity Week in the Province of South Cotabato” authored by Boardmember Ester Marin-Catorce.

Planning Officer and OGP POint of Contact Jennifer Bretaña said almost all of the activities are done virtually considering the challenges brought about by the pandemic.

Opening of the Integrity Week and Awarding of the Dangal ng South Cotabato Integrity Award,  Launching of the South Cotabato Open Government Partnership 2nd Action Plan Co-Creation and the Webinar Series 1: Women-Led Integrity Building and Participation in Governance.

Webinar Series 2: Engaging the Youth in Times of Pandemic and PGSV Employees’ Orientation on the Integrated Provincial Online Database (iPOD)

Launching of the Provincial Freedom of Information (FOI) and Integrated Provincial Online Database (iPOD), and Webitaktakan sa Probinsiya on Localizing the FOI with PCOO ASEC. Michel Kristian R. Ablan, Gov. Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., and Pasig City Mayor Vico N. Sotto.

The celebration carries a theme: ” INTEGRITY and OPEN GOVERNMENT as Drivers of Good Governance: Accelerating Government Services Towards the New Normal.”
