South Cotabato ensures uninterrupted patient transport amid fuel concerns

SOUTH COTABATO — The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of South Cotabato has assured the continued delivery of patient transport services despite fuel supply concerns linked to global tensions.

The PDRRMO has activated contingency measures to sustain its Patient Transport Services Program, ensuring that patients can access medical care within and outside the province.

PDRRMO Head Rolly Doane Aquino said proactive planning and efficient resource management have enabled the uninterrupted delivery of services.

“Despite fuel supply concerns, our patient transport services continue without disruption,” Aquino said.

The office has strengthened coordination with partner agencies to optimize fuel use, ensure vehicle readiness, and manage personnel deployment, while maintaining close monitoring to prevent service gaps.

Under the leadership of Governor Reynaldo Tamayo Jr., the provincial government continues to prioritize essential services, particularly emergency health response.

The PDRRMO also urged the public to use transport services for urgent medical cases to ensure that resources are utilized effectively.
