South Cotabato, Philippines— The Provincial Human Resource Management and Development Office (PHRMDO), in collaboration with the Provincial Information Office (PIO), spearheaded a campaign to promote the 12 Core Values of South Cotabato. This initiative aims to instill a strong ethical foundation among government employees and reinforce the commitment to quality public service.
A key highlight of the campaign was the production of a five-minute video material that delves into the 12 Core Values of the province, with a particular emphasis on “Tama kag Maayo nga Serbisyo” (Right and Good Service). This video serves as an essential tool in the orientation program for newly hired employees, ensuring that every member of the provincial government workforce upholds these guiding principles in their daily responsibilities.
“This campaign is an important step in shaping a workforce that is not only competent but also deeply rooted in the values of integrity and service excellence,” said Julie Serilo, Officer-in-Charge of the Human Resource and Development Division. “By embedding these core values in our employees, we ensure that public service in South Cotabato remains responsive and people-centered.”
The campaign underscores the provincial government’s dedication to fostering a culture of integrity, excellence, and service-oriented leadership. By integrating these core values into employee training, South Cotabato aims to further enhance public trust and improve the delivery of government programs and services.
The PHRMDO and PIO continue to explore innovative ways to engage employees and the broader community in embracing and living out the core values. With this initiative, the province reaffirms its commitment to governance that is transparent, accountable, and responsive to the needs of its people.
PHRMO is set to conduct the first orientation for this year on February.
