South Cotabato LGU Turns Over PHP2.5M classroom building in Acmonan Integrated School

TUPI, SOUTH COTABATO – The Provincial Government of South Cotabato through its Provincial Engineering Office officially turns over the PHP2.5M 2-classroom building with CR to Acmonan Integrated School in Barangay Acmonan, Tupi, South Cotabato.

The Provincial Government of South Cotabato allotted PHP 2,595,858.31 for the said project.

The project is under the flagship program of South Cotabato Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. under the governor’s commitment to ensuring quality and free education across the province.

Faculty and staff of Acmonan Integrated school expressed their joy as the new classroom buildings will aid the learners in their learning.

Grabe gid ang amon kalipay kag dako gid ang impact sang paghatag sang mga bag-o nga classrooms… Nagapasalamat kami kay Governor sa paghatag sang bag-o nga classrooms kay Nakita namon nga may contribution gid ang manami nga classrooms sa kaayohan sang mga bata sa pag-eskwela…” – said Jayson T. Casic, Teacher 1 at Acmonan Integrated School

Meanwhile, Governor Tamayo continues to express his commitment to the education program through the construction of classroom buildings across the province provide better learning environment to students and to address the lack of classroom buildings.

Acmonan Integrated school currently caters to over 300 students from far-flung sitios of Barangay Acmonan situated near the foot of Mt. Matutum where most students belong to various indigenous peoples groups.
