South Cotabato provincial government fund reaches people, communities

South Cotabato, Philippines | January 17, 2026 – Governor Reynaldo Tamayo, Jr. has strengthened the implementation of his flagship programs to ensure that government services and assistance truly reach the barangays, sitios, and puroks across the province.

According to Barangay Affairs Unit Executive Assistant IV Dennis C. Dignadice, the Governor’s programs are on track and moving in the right direction.

“Clear plans are already in place to extend development initiatives to more sitios and puroks. We make sure that the needs of communities, especially those in far-flung areas, are properly addressed. These efforts reflect the provincial sgovernment’s commitment to bringing services closer to the people,” Dignadice said.

The positive effects of the provincial funds were also affirmed by General Paulino Santos Barangay Chairman Danilo B. Delo Santos.

Their area, which is part of a Provincial Road project, has benefited from improved road conditions that make transportation easier, boost local economic activities, and provide safer and more convenient travel for residents.

“Yes, nabatyagan namon ang pondo sang Provincial Government labi na sa provincial road, “ Barangay Chairman Delos Santos stated.

Meanwhile, Community Organizer Zuellen M. Jawood from the Office of the Provincial Governor – Barangay Affairs Unit, emphasized their full support for the complete implementation of the Governor’s programs.

She noted that their office remains committed to ensuring that government projects are carried out properly and that services delivered to the public are efficient, fair, and of good quality.

Residents of General Paulino Santos in Koronadal City also expressed their hope that more livelihood programs will be introduced.

They specifically called for the expansion of initiatives such as the “Bigasan” and other income-generating projects, which they believe are essential in strengthening family incomes and improving overall living conditions.
