South Cotabato – Over 100 employees of the Provincial Government of South Cotabato were recognized for their loyalty and service excellence during the annual ‘Araw ng Parangal’ awards rites held at the Farm at Carpenter Hill, City of Koronadal, recently.
A total of 105 employees were recognized for their length of service in the Provincial Government with one employee of Norala District Hospital reaching 45 years in government service.
Meanwhile, the awards ceremony also recognized top performing departments and top performing individuals based on their outstanding Individual Performance Commitment and Review.
Also recognized in the awards rites are the retirees of the provincial government together with the Posthumous Awardees.
Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., lauded the employees in their continuous excellent performance and loyalty in service in the government, citing that the employees’ performance is the building blocks of the province’s progress.
“I believe that with your long years of service, having worked under several governors, and through your excellent performance, you are the reason why we have this kind of government in our province today. I can truly say that our province is in good hands,” Governor Tamayo said in his speech.
(Ako’y naniniwala na sa tagal ng inyong pagserbisyo, ilang gobernador na ang inyong napagdaanan, at sa magaling ninyong performance, ay kayo ang dahilan kung bakit mayroon tayong ganintong klase ng gobyerno ngayon dito sa probinsya natin na masasabi ko na nasa mabuting kamay ang ating probinsya).
Tamayo further elaborated that the employees’ passion and dedication in their work will make South Cotabato stand out in giving exemplary service to the people, materializing the Province’s tagline of being “Angat sa Lahat”.
The Araw ng Parangal awards ceremony is an annual award rites of the Provincial Government, spearheaded by the Human Resource and Management Office that aims to recognize employees who showed exemplary service and service loyalty in government service.
