South Cotabato has surpassed its touridt srrivals record last 2021 when it posted 2.033,197 domestic and foreign visitors for the period January – December 2022, the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Museum Unit (ACTMU) reported
Richie Matunding, ACTMU staff disclosed South Cotabato tourist arrivals increased by 53,78%, from 1,322,189 to the current total of 2,033, 197.
December top the list of visitors with 256,185, followed by October witn 179,845, June – 179,712, , August – 175,026, March – 172,450, September – 168,094, July – 160,201, May – 155,719, April – 153,605, November – 149,169, January – 145,005, Fenruary – 138,136.
Lake Sebu is still the top favorite destination in the province with 957,761 visitors followed by Surallah with 350,962, Tupi – 255,428, Banga – 197,277, City of Koronadal – 109,273 and Norala – 65,441, among the top 5.
Likewise, T’boli registered 49,097, Tampakan – – 23,972, Polomolok – 15,928, Sto. Nino – 6,272 and Tantangan – 1,682.
