KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — The Provincial Government of South Cotabato has continued releasing honorariums to 3,700 Provincial Family Health Navigators (PFHN) through the office of the Barangay Affairs Unit, marking continued support for grassroots health workers across the province.
Each health navigator will receive 1,500 pesos for the first quarter, with a total budget allocation of P103,178,000 for their community-based health initiatives.
Latest data show that 1,873 beneficiaries have already received their payments, while 1,827 are still pending release. Officials assured that the payout is ongoing and is being prioritized to ensure all recipients are served within the scheduled timeframe without delays.
Barangay Affairs Chief Dennis Dignadice said the provincial government is coordinating with local leaders and barangay officials to speed up distribution and address any logistical concerns.
“We are working with our local counterparts to ensure a smooth and faster release of honorariums,” Dignadice said.
He further emphasized that the program supports frontline health workers who play a vital role in delivering essential health services in sitios, puroks, and barangays throughout the province.
“Their contribution is essential in bringing health services closer to the people, especially those in far-flung and underserved communities,” he added.
The provincial government, under Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., continues to push for stronger primary healthcare programs, ensuring that frontline workers remain supported, motivated, and equipped in delivering quality services to communities.
