KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — The Provincial Government of South Cotabato has commenced the fourth batch of honorarium distribution for its Provincial Family Health Navigators, benefiting 1,815 navigators from the province’s 11 local government units (LGUs).
Barangay Affairs Unit Chief Dennis C. Dignadice said the honorarium provides financial support to the Provincial Family Health Navigators as they carry out their responsibilities in assisting families and communities.
“The honorarium is intended to support our Family Health Navigators as they perform their duties in the communities. Despite the amount being modest, it helps aid our navigators as they continue to participate in health-related activities and reach out to families,” Dignadice said.
The navigators receive P500 each as honorarium for the second quarter of 2026, with a total allocation of P2,262,000.
He emphasized that the navigators play an important role in strengthening the connection between communities and government health programs.
“Our Family Health Navigators are working closely with their communities. They help guide families, provide information, and encourage them to avail themselves of available health programs and services,” Dignadice added.
The fourth batch release covers navigators from all 11 LGUs of South Cotabato, ensuring that community-based health partners receive their corresponding honorarium for the second quarter.
Dignadice also expressed appreciation to the navigators for their continued dedication and service.
“We appreciate the time and effort of all the navigators. Their presence in the communities helps us bring our health programs closer to the people, and we hope that this support will encourage them to continue their important work,” he stressed.
The Provincial Government continues to strengthen its partnership with barangays and LGUs through community-based initiatives aimed at improving access to government services and promoting the health and well-being of South Cotabato families.
