KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — The Provincial Government of South Cotabato, through the Barangay Affairs Unit (BAU), facilitated the release of the first quarter honorarium for RST Auxiliary Police Responder Provincial Disaster at the Provincial Covered Court of the South Cotabato Provincial Capitol on May 26, 2026.
A total of 753 beneficiaries from 15 barangays in the City of Koronadal received their honorarium covering the months of January to March. The auxiliary police responders received 1,500.00 each.
The auxiliary police responders serve as partners of the local government in maintaining peace and order, disaster preparedness, emergency response, and community safety operations in their respective barangays.
Barangay Affairs Unit Head Dennis C. Dignadice emphasized that the said activity recognizes the hard work and dedication of the responders who continue to serve the community despite the challenges in the field.
“Our responders play an important role in ensuring, peace, safety, and immediate response during emergencies,” Dignadice said.
He added that the Provincial Government remains committed to strengthening grassroots disaster response and public safety programs through continuous support to local responders.
Meanwhile, Jan Edzel Isales, BAU Program Assistant highlighted that the responders have become more valuable partners in community service and emergency operations.
“The dedication of our responders greatly helps in maintaining organized and effective coordination during disasters and other community concerns. Through this support, we hope to encourage them to continue their service to the barangays,” Isales said.
The Provincial Government, under the leadership of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., continues to prioritize disaster resilience and public safety initiatives as part of its commitment to building safer and more prepared communities in the province.
