South Cotabato Strengthens Consolidated Rice Production and Mechanization Program

KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — The Provincial Government of South Cotabato, under the leadership of Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., continues to advance and strengthen the Consolidated Rice Production and Mechanization Program through a series of in-depth discussions with various provincial government offices.

The program seeks to increase farmers’ yield and income while ensuring their overall well-being through the adoption of modern technology and mechanized farming practices. In line with this, the finalization of an ordinance is also being deliberated to further support the effective implementation of the program.

One of the key components of this initiative is the nearing completion of the Rice Processing Center in the Municipality of Banga. The facility is expected to provide higher-quality rice and a more efficient processing system for the province’s palay farmers.

With Governor Tamayo’s leadership, the Provincial Government firmly believes that through collective efforts and the adoption of modern agricultural practices, South Cotabato can secure a wealthy future for its farmers and the entire province.
