Anchored on the theme, “Kababaihan sa Kanayunan: Susi at Kabalikat sa Bagong Pilipinas,” the activity aims to recognize the skills, talents, and accomplishments of RIC members while promoting women’s participation in agriculture and community development.

The activity will highlight the important role of Rural Improvement Clubs as partners in advancing agricultural programs and strengthening the livelihood initiatives of women in the province. It will also serve as a channel for developing women leadership and potential towards home and community improvement.

Shaira Bañaria, Agriculturist I of OPAg-South Cotabato, said the RIC Achievement Day will serve as a venue to recognize the dedication and efforts of women farmers while encouraging them to continue developing their skills and talents, learn from one another, and strengthen their role as agricultural partners.

“This activity will allow our RIC members to showcase what they have learned and accomplished through various initiatives. It also encourages them to exchange ideas, appreciate each other’s efforts, and continue improving their skills in agriculture and livelihood activities.” Bañaria shared.

The one-day event will feature various activities, including the Dish Gardening Competition and Ginang RIC Quiz Bee, as well as the presentation of programs, plans, and accomplishments of RIC members to highlight their creativity and entrepreneurship capabilities.
