KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato — The Province’s Grand Christmas Lighting Ceremony 2025 at Capitol Compound was not only a feast for the eyes with dazzling lights and music but also a night of generosity that brought smiles to more than 300 kids and kids at heart.
Provincial officials and the cooperative sector shared free holiday treats, making the celebration a memorable and joyful experience for everyone.
In his message, Vice Governor Pingoy highlighted the deeper meaning of the event:
“This lighting that we are doing is not just about illuminating our Capitol. We are doing this because we want to show that in South Cotabato, we stand as one. We hope that next year will be even better, and we want everyone to enjoy celebrating Christmas.”

The Cooperative Sector, through the Provincial Cooperative and Development Office (PCDO) led by Atty. Renette B. Bergado and the Provincial Cooperative Development Council (PCDC), generously distributed 100 loot bags and choco milk, allowing children and the young at heart to fully enjoy and avail of the festive treats.
With strong support from Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., the Grand Christmas Lighting Ceremony 2025, led by the Provincial General Services Office, once again showcased the province’s unwavering commitment to community, celebration, and spreading smiles through simple acts of kindness.
